Heard Ms. Sukhwani Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner, herein, is the plaintiff in Original Suit No.70 of 2018, pending in the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dehradun praying for expeditious disposal of the said suit, which is pending since 2018. 3. In this suit, the petitioner being a plaintiff is praying for declaration of her marriage with the respondent – defendant as null and void. She further submits that the written statement has been filed, and the issues have also been framed. 4. Taking into consideration that the dispute relates to a marriage, which according to the plaintiff, is null and void. 5. The relief as sought for expediting the suit appears to be innocuous. 6. In such view of the matter, the instant writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dehradun to expedite the Original Suit No.70 of 2018, “Daraksha Khan vs. Saleem Khan”, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of 2026:UHC:3505 certified copy of this order.
