WP No. 27775 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 ORDER This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 01.06.2026 bearing Application No. 2026/0103/07/0155446, cancel the illegal patta mutation made in favour of the respondents 4 and 5 in respect of the properties comprised in Survey Nos. 52/2A and 52/2B, and consequently effect the patta transfer in favour of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted an online application dated 13.05.2026 seeking a patta transfer, followed by a representation dated 01.06.2026, requesting the official respondents to consider the same. He further submits that the petitioner has sought the cancellation of the illegal patta mutation made in favour of respondents 3 and 4, and a consequential transfer of the patta in the name of the petitioner, based on the civil court decree passed in A.S. No. 67 of 2009. However, the said representation has not been considered to date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 3. Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that the petitioner’s representation dated 01.06.2026 will be considered within a period of six weeks. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5.
Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 01.06.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing due notice and affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the private respondents 4 and 5, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
