ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 08.12.2025 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that a statutory appeal was preferred before the respondent on 08.12.2025 under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983. The appeal seeks to substitute the description “School Ground” with “Pothakudi Mirasutharar Sangam Pallaivasal Maithanam” in respect of Survey No. 162/B situated at Pothakudi Village. Despite the lapse of considerable time, the respondent has neither conducted an enquiry nor
disposed of the appeal in accordance with law. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for appropriate relief. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
