2026:JHHC:10561 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No. 1552 of 2026 ------ Kanhaiya Kumar Puri, son of Suresh Kumar Puri, resident of Baliyachowki, Deoghar, P.O. Tapowan, P.S. Kunda, District Deoghar .... .... …. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand .... .... .... Opposite Party CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI For the Petitioner : Mr. Lakhan Chandra Roy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Ajay Kumar Pathak, A.P.P. ------ 02/13.04.2026 The matter relates to Kunda P.S. Case No. 113 of 2024 pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that earlier the petitioner has moved for grant of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.3303 of 2025 which was dismissed as withdrawn on 25.06.2025. He submits that on the fresh ground, instant anticipatory bail application has been filed. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that in the present petition, nothing new has been stated and on the same ground which was at the time of earlier anticipatory bail application, instant anticipatory bail application has been filed. 4. There is no doubt that in the changed circumstance, second anticipatory bail application can be maintained. However, in the present case, there is no fresh ground. The ground taken by the petitioner is already there when the petitioner has withdrawn the earlier anticipatory bail application. 5. In that view of the matter, this application is hereby, rejected.
