This petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed by the petitioner, namely, Satyandra Moran @ Satyendra Moran, apprehending arrest in connection with Doomdooma P.S. Case No. 41/2026 registered u/s 21(b) of the NDPS Act. Page No.# 2/2 3. The prosecution case is that on 10/3/2026 an FIR was lodged stating that on that day an information was received about concealment of drugs in the house of the petitioner located at Hukanguri Nagaon under Doomdoma PS in the district of Tinsukia. Accordingly, a search operation was conducted 0.7 grams of herion without soap boxes was seized along with cash of more than one lakh. 4. The case diary, as called for, has been received. 5. The learned Additional Public prosecutor submits that as per the investigation, the petitioner is stated to be prima facie involved in peddling of drugs in that area. The statements of two seizure witnesses have been placed before me from the case diary and they have also supported the seizure of the contraband. 6. Investigation is in progress and at this stage at least it would not be a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail and accordingly, the bail petition stands rejected and disposed of. 7.
