Side), for R1 to R4 ORDER The prayer in the petition is to provide Police protection for the life and limb of the petitioners. 2. When the matter came up for hearing, it can be seen that as between neighbours, there is a water way dispute. In view thereof, it is alleged by the petitioners that the other side is threatening for their life and limb. When there is a civil dispute, if the petitioners want protection to the very action and the property, it will be open for the petitioners to approach the competent Civil Court. As and when any decree or interim order is passed, the Police shall grant protection as per the decree or the order of the Civil Court. In the meanwhile, if any cognizable offence is reported, the action shall be taken in accordance with law.
