1. This is an o,ce reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023 passed in MCRC No. 6537 of 2023, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Sikender Singh Dhillon, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi8ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN
2 time for compliance of the order dated 06.11.2023.
4. The learned Special Judge, (Protection of Depositors Interest Act), Surajpur, District-Surajpur (C.G.) vide her request letter dated 24.02.2026 has requested for grant of three months time for concluding the trial.
5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case a supplementary charge-sheet has been 8led against the absconding accused persons. After 8ling of the supplementary charge-sheet, the trial against the accused persons mentioned therein was resumed and the statements of the witnesses who were previously examined have been recorded again. At present, the case is 8xed for recording the statements of the accused persons. The time limit for disposal of the case is about to expire. Therefore, it is most respectfully prayed that an additional period of three months may kindly be granted for the disposal of the case.
6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o7 with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certi8ed copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/- (Ramesh Sinha)
