It is submitted that in spite of receipt of complaint alleging that elder brother of the petitioner was abducted, necessary steps were not taken by the police authorities. 3) Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 5th April, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge of Bankura Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of said 2 communication is made over to learned advocate representing the petitioner. 4) It is disclosed in said communication that on enquiry it was found that elder brother of the petitioner was not abducted rather he was admitted in rehabilitation centre by his wife due to his addiction. 5) In view of aforesaid scenario, no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 6) Writ petition stands disposed of. 7) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
