The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose the representation dated 28.01.2026, seeking to retain the existing electricity pole in Survey No.135/2, situated at Nilavarapatti Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District and no new electricity pole be erected in the common pathway leading to the well, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. 3. At the outset, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 4. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 28.01.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 27202 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested persons within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order.
