JUSTICE V.SRISHANANDA) 1. Heard Sri. Shivaraj V. Hiremath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. D. V. Pattar, learned counsel for respondent No.1. 2. The petitioner is the husband challenging the grant of quantum of maintenance to his wife and children in a sum of Rs.2,000/- and Rs.1,500/- respectively. 3. Petitioner is employed as a peon in a private College and he is drawing salary of Rs.21,000/- per month. 4. What has been ordered by the learned Trial Judge after recording the finding that the desertion of respondents by the petitioner is a meager amount, put together working out of Rs.3,500/- (little more than Rs.100/- per day), which is hardly sufficient to meet two ends of two persons. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:1832 CRL.P No. 100043 of 2020 5.
