The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No.292 of 2025. It has been alleged that on a secret information a vehicle was intercepted and the petitioner and two others were apprehended by the Police. On a search of the vehicle 253 grams of brown sugar was recovered. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 06.09.2025. It has further been submitted that the owner of the vehicle namely Jitendra Kumar Sahu who was also apprehended at the spot, has been granted bail in B.A. No.11159 of 2025. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent with respect to NDPS case. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that Jitendra Kumar Sahu has been granted bail, as noted above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S.
