This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 22.03.2025, annexure-2 to the writ petition, passed by the respondent No. 2, whereby petitioner was placed under suspension. 3. The petitioner was placed under suspension on account of her arrest pursuant to FIR No. 463 of 2023 dated 14.12.2023, registered under Sections 120B, 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC at Police Station Nehru Colony, Dehradun. 4. The petitioner, contends that the FIR has been quashed by this Court vide order dated 01.12.2025 in C528 No. 1476 of 2025, Ravikanta Sharma Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others, therefore, suspension order cannot sustain. 5. The instructions were called from the State. 6. Today, instructions dated 11.05.2026 are produced before this Court. The same are taken on record. 7. On the basis of instructions, it is contended by learned counsel for the State that mere quashing of the FIR will not amount to exoneration from irregularity committed by the petitioner. For the irregularity committed by the petitioner, the petitioner is being proceeded in the departmental proceedings, and a chargesheet has already been issued to the petitioner on 29.06.2024, which was received by the petitioner on 08.07.2024. This fact of submission of the chargesheet has been suppressed in the writ petition. The departmental proceeding is going on against her and she is already under suspension. 8. In such view of the matter, no interference is warranted for quashing the suspension order dated 22.03.2025, impugned in the writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed. 9. However, respondents are directed to expedite the departmental proceedings against the petitioner and the same be concluded within the period not later than nine months from today.
