JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 17.03.2026 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed seeking pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with G.R Case No.1005 of 2025 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Khurda arising out of Khurda Model P.S. Case No.460 of 2025 on the grounds stated. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. In fact, the petitioner had earlier approached this Court in ABLAPL Nos.12946 of 2025 disposed of on 6th January, 2026 allowing him to surrender for being released on bail subject to verification of his criminal antecedent. It is informed to the Court by Mr. Bhanjadeo, learned counsel for the petitioner that the present accused is having one more criminal case of the year 2022, hence, he could not surrender complying the order in the ABLAPL. Considering the submission as above and response of the State, this Court is of the view that the petitioner should surrender before the learned court below for being released on bail subject to absence of more than one criminal antecedent besides the present one with such other conditions imposed. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. In the event, the petitioner surrenders before the learned S.D.J.M., Khurda in connection with G.R Case No.1005 of 2025 corresponding to Khurda Model P.S. Case No.460 of 2025 within a fortnight from today, it is directed that he shall be released on bail subject to compliance of the direction as above. 6.
