For Petitioner: Mr.A.Venkatesan For Respondent: Mr.S.Yogaraja Sekar Counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Criminal Side) ORDER The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2026 for the alleged offences under Sections 109(1), 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 191(2), 191(3), 296(B), 351(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 in Crime No.258 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2. Hence the case. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that there are about 15 accused in this case and this petitioner is arrayed as A10. He also submits that the petitioner has been in judicial custody since 22.06.2026 and is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for the grant of bail. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, while opposing the grant of bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the injured person sustained severe injuries and is still undergoing treatment in the hospital. 5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side. 6. Considering the submission of the learned counsel on either side, the seriousness of the allegations, the severity of the occurrence and also upon the fact that injured person sustained severe injuries and is still undergoing treatment in the hospital, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 19519 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 7.
