Mr.A.Amarnath, learned counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) files a status report of the Inspector of Police, E2, Peelamedu Police Station, Coimbatore, which reveals that the correct date of birth of the convict is 17.10.2001, and the birth certificate to the Court is false. In fact, at paragraph 11 of the report, the officer states as follows: ‘11. It is observed from the above investigation of the documents available on the record that urgency of getting the Birth certificate is clearly visible. In addition to the records which are taken from student admission register available with District Education Superintendent Office, Patna gives a clear and true picture that the accused with full force tried to manipulate the government records in order to support his malafide intentions.’ A copy of the report is also given to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. In light of the enquiry now caused and the report obtained, Crl.M.P.No.3561 of 2026 stands closed. 4. Petition seeking suspension of sentence is listed on 03.08.2026. (A.S.M.,J.)
