The petitioner is an accused in the case for the offences punishable under Sections 317(5)/3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12(1)(2)(3) of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. As per the allegation, 9 bovine animals were being transported by a pick-up van bearing registration No. JH-01-EU-6969 for slaughtering. It has been alleged that the petitioner, Md. Danish @ Ali Asgar and Md. Saheb Alam, while riding on a car bearing registration No. JH-01-BD-3710, were escorting the said pick-up van. Co-accused Md. Danish @ Ali Asgar has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 13.02.2026 passed in B.A. No. 12125 of 2025. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 30.10.2025 and hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 4. Learned P.P. opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 2026:JHHC:5148 2 Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Dhurwa (Hatia) P.S.
