Mr. Rishab Ranghar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner herein is the defendant in Original Suit No.282 of 2018, “Smt. Sangeeta Bijalwan vs. Bhuwnehwar Prasad Devrani”, filed by respondent – plaintiff in the court of Ist Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Dehradun. 3. By the instant writ petition, the petitioner is praying for expediting the said suit on the ground that the petitioner is a senior citizen, aged about 85 years and the suit is pending since, 2018. He also submits that the pleadings are exchanged and the issues have already been framed in the year, 2022. 4. The relief as sought appears to be innocuous. 5. In such view of the matter and taking into consideration the age of the petitioner who is the defendant in the suit and the fact that the issues have already been framed in the year, 2022, the instant writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Ist Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Dehradun to expedite the proceeding of Original Suit No.282 of 2018, 2026:UHC:3506 “Smt. Sangeeta Bijalwan vs. Bhuwnehwar Prasad Devrani”, on day today hearing basis within three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
