CRP No. 4199 of 2026 ____________ Page No.1 of 4 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT MADRAS DATED: 24-07-2026 CORAM THE HON'BLE MR JUSTICE ABDUL QUDDHOSE CRP No. 4199 of 2026 AND CMP NO. 18327 OF 2026 Kannan ..Petitioner Vs Savithri ..Respondent Prayer : Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, praying to set aside the order dated 11.09.2025 made in I.A.No.3 of 2024 in HMOP No.266 of 2023 on the file of Family Court, Cuddalore. For Petitioner : Mr.N.Krishnakumar For M/s.S.Sarvabhauman Associates For Respondent : Notice dispensed with ***** ORDER This Civil Revision Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 11.09.2025 passed by the Family Court, Cuddalore in I.A.No.3 of 2024 in H.M.O.P.No.266 of 2023. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 4199 of 2026 ____________ Page No.2 of 4 2. Since no adverse order has been passed against the respondent in this revision, notice to the respondent in this revision is dispensed with by this Court. 3. In the aforesaid order, the Family Court, Cuddalore has directed the petitioner, who is the husband to pay the respondent, who is his wife, an interim maintenance of Rs.5,000/- p.m. and has also directed the petitioner to pay the arrears of interim maintenance in three installments. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends before this Court that the petitioner is unemployed and is not in a position to pay interim monthly maintenance of Rs.5,000/- to the respondent. 5. As seen from the impugned order, the respondent is also unemployed and it has also been observed that the petitioner had not produced any documentary evidence to prove that the respondent is employed. While that being so, the question of interfering with the impugned order passed by the Family Court, Cuddalore, under which, the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 4199 of 2026 ____________ Page No.3 of 4 petitioner has been directed to pay only a sum of Rs.5,000/- p.m. to the respondent as interim maintenance, does not arise. This Court does not find any merit in this Civil Revision Petition. 6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 24-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No sp To The Family Court, Cuddalore. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 4199 of 2026 ____________ Page No.4 of 4 ABDUL QUDDHOSE J. sp CRP No. 4199 of 2026 AND CMP NO. 18327 OF 2026 24-07-2026 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
