2 the petitioners to approach the concerned Authorities afresh with further direction that in case the Authorities do not do the needful within reasonable time, the petitioners would be at liberty to approach the Court again in accordance with law.
3. Petitioners grievance is that pursuant to aforesaid directions, they preferred representation on 19.12.2025 to respondent No.2- Deputy Commissioner, Una, District Una, H.P. for redressal of their grievance with respect to encroachments allegedly made by private respondents on government as well as forest land but the representation has not been taken to its logical conclusion till date by the Competent Authority.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners would be satisfied in case respondent No.2/Competent Authority is directed to consider, take appropriate call on representation (Annexure P-6) so preferred by the petitioners within reasonable time.
4. Taking note of above submission but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is
disposed of with direction to respondent No.2/Competent Authority to consider and decide the representation dated 19.12.2025 (Annexure P-6) preferred by the petitioners in
3 accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 12 weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioners. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any. Jyotsna Rewal Dua April 22, 2026
