The petitioner has filed a undertaking affidavit that he will not participate in the temple festival in a drunken mode, pursuant to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent police that in the earlier temple festival, a first information report was registered as against him for the ruckus created by him in a drunken mode. 3. In view of the same, this Court hereby directs the respondents 1 to 5 to ensure the petitioner and his family members participate in the Aadi month temple festival scheduled to be held on 24.07.2026 for the temple Arul mighu Udayammal, Karupar and Kali in Vettanur village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai district, considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2026. It is made clear that neither the petitioner, his family members nor any of the person should participate in the temple festival in a drunken mood.
