The first and 2nd respondents in writ petition aggrieved by the order of the learned Single Judge directing approval of the writ petitioner's appointment as Graduate Teacher in Mathematics with effect from 09.06.2017 instead of 22.12.2017 has filed the present writ appeal. 2.The writ petition had been filed by the first respondent herein, who contended that she has been appointed as BT Assistant (Mathematics) in Little Flower High School at Periyathalai, Tuticorin District on and from 09.06.2017, by an order of appointment dated 06.06.2017 with effect from 09.06.2017. It had been stated that the said School had forwarded a proceedings dated 18.07.2017 seeking approval of appointment. It had been stated by the appellants herein that the upgraded post of Secondary Grade Assistant had fallen vacant only on 22.12.2017 and therefore, the appointment of the writ petitioner on and from 09.06.2017 cannot be https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP(MD)No.986 of 2026 acceded and could be approved only on and from 22.12.2017. This argument advanced by the writ appellants did not find favour of the learned Single Judge, who allowed the writ petition and directed that the writ petitioner should be recognized to have been serving on and from 09.06.2017. Questioning that particular direction issued, the writ appeal had been filed. 3. It is however brought to the notice of this Court that by proceedings in March 2026 in Na.Ka.No.3670/A3/2025, approval had been granted to the writ petitioner/Ms.C.Amali Jerosy with effect from 09.06.2017. In effect, the directions of the learned Single Judge had been complied with. Nothing further survives for adjudication in the writ appeal. Appreciating the stand of the appellants, the writ appeal stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. (C.V.K.,J.)
