For the State : Mr. Satish Prasad, A.P.P. ----- 03/ 19.02.2026 This Bail Application under Section 483 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been filed to release the petitioner on regular bail in connection with Mandar P.S. Case No.90 of 2025, for offences under Sections 118(2), 109 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and Sections 25(1-B)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act. The case is presently pending before the Court of learned J.M. 1st Class, Ranchi. 2. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned A.P.P. representing the State. Perused the material available on record and also gone through the impugned order. 3. Opportunity was given to the State to oppose the bail, which the State availed and opposed. 4. I have gone through the case diary. 5. The statement of the injured has been recorded in para-43 (Enclosure-6), wherein the injured has specifically taken the name of the petitioner that the petitioner has shot at him. 6. Considering the direct evidence available on record, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 7. Accordingly, this Bail Application is dismissed.
