In view of the grievance of the petitioner, documents placed on record and submissions made for the parties, there is no necessity to call for the reply from the respondents. Pursuant to giving effect to the decision rendered in The State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors. Versus Surajmani & Anr.2, respondent No.4–State Forest Corporation considered petitioner’s case and conferred upon him work-charge status on completion of eight years of service w.e.f. 31.01.2001 and, accordingly, refixed his pay on 28.08.2025 (Annexure P-1). Petitioner’s grievance is that the said refixation has also to be reflected by way of further refixation of his pay in the Health Department, where he is presently employed. Accordingly, there shall be direction to respondents No.1 to 3/competent authority to consider petitioner’s case and to carry out corresponding refixation of his pay, if necessitated, pursuant to respondent No.4 having refixed petitioner’s pay on 28.08.2025 (Annexure P-1). Necessary orders in this regard shall be passed by respondent No.2/competent authority, keeping in view petitioner’s refixation under order dated 28.08.2025 and the judgment in Surajmani & Anr.2, within a period of six weeks. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. 2 Civil Appeal No.1595 of 2025, decided alongwith connected civil appeals on 06.02.2025 3 The present petition to stand disposed of in above terms.
