The case is taken up today before the National Lok Adalat. The parties are present before the Lok Adalat through V.C. and are duly identified by their respective counsel. Before the Lok Adalat, the parties have agreed to settle the matter and have arrived at a compromise. The terms of the compromise have been recorded in a separate compromise sheet which shall form part of the order.
The compounding application (IA No. 1 of 2025) has been preferred by the parties and, in view of the settlement arrived at between them, the compounding application is allowed. Consequently, the criminal misc. application is allowed, and the impugned Charge-sheet dated 11.06.2023 (FIR dated 03.06.2022 registered as FIR/Case Crime No. 0208/2022) Under Section 420, 406 of I.P.C Police Station Raipur, District- Dehradun as well as cognizance/summoning order dated 10.05.2024 passed by Learned Addl. Civil Judge(Sr. Div.) VIth /A.C.J.M, Dehradun in Criminal Case No. 4431/2024 "State vs. Adesh
Kumar Gupta" along with entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 4431/2024 "State vs. Adesh Kumar Gupta" Under Section 420,406 of I.P.C, Police Station Raipur, District- Dehradun pending in the court of Learned Addl. Civil Judge(Sr. Div.) VIth/A.C.J.M, Dehradun, are hereby quashed.
