This revisional application has been filed seeking inter alia expeditious disposal of an application under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 filed before the Commercial Court at Asansol. 2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that at the time when the revisional application had been filed, the relevant Bench was vacant. It is submitted that the relevant Court is now presided over by a learned Judge. 3. In such view of the matter, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the Commercial Court at Asansol to dispose of the petitioner’s application being Misc. Arbitration (Commercial) No. 12 of 2025 filed before the Commercial Court at Asansol, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 4. It is made clear that this court has not gone into the merits of the said application under Section 9 of the 2 Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and all points are left open to be urged and decided by the learned court, in accordance with law. 5. Since the prayer made is innocuous no direction for prior service of notice has been given, however, the petitioner shall serve a copy of the revisional application along with this order on the opposite party within a week from date. 6. CO 625 of 2026 stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
