[3] Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents through VC platform. Hence no formal notice is called for. [4] In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself. [5] At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for redressing the grievances raise by the petitioner in the present writ petition, the petitioner had already approached the Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal District, Manipur by filling a representation dated 25.05.2026 and the said representation is still pending for consideration and disposal. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal District (respondent no. 2) to consider the said representation on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable law and to disposed of the same by issuing an appropriate order within a stipulated period. [6] Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by the petitioner, he has no objection in disposing of this writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. [7] Taking into consideration the submission advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is of the WP(C) No. 462 of 2026 Page 3 considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions;- (i) The Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal District, Manipur (respondent no. 2) is hereby directed to consider the representation dated 25.05.2026 submitted by the petitioner on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules/guidelines and to disposed of the same by issuing an appropriate order. (ii) The whole process should be completed within a period of 3(three) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. (iii) It is made clear that the aforesaid directions have been issued without touching upon the merit of this writ petition. [8] With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of. JUDGE Lucy
