Petitioners, through the medium of this petition, seek direction to the respondents to provide alternate location for medical shop operated by Bishnah Cooperative Medical Consumer Store, as per communication dated 27.12.2004 issued by respondent No.2-Registrar Cooperative Societies, J&K, to respondent No.3- Director Health Services, Jammu. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the medical shop at Sub District Hospital, Bishnah has been functioning there since 1997, however, the building premises housing the shop has been rendered unsafe and in view of this fact, the respondent No.2-Registrar Cooperative Societies, J&K, had taken up the matter with respondent No.3-Director Health Services, Jammu vide communication dated 27.12.2024 to allocate a suitable alternate location for the medical shop within the Hospital premises to ensure continued provision of essential medical supplies for the public. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite this communication from respondent No.2, respondent No.3 has not taken any action in the matter and prayed that the petition be disposed of, at this stage, with a direction to the respondent No.3 to consider the matter for shifting of medical shop to safe and suitable alternate location within the Sub District Hospital, Bishnah premises. 4. In view of the pleadings, facts and circumstances and submissions urged by learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is, disposed of, at its threshold, with a direction to the respondent No.3-Director Health Services, to consider the issue raised by the petitioners in this petition in light of communication dated 27.12.2004 of the Registrar Cooperative Societies, J&K, expeditiously. 5.
