Poddar for the petitioner Abdul Batem @Abdul Baten who has filed this application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Laharighat Police Station Case No. 13/2026 under Sections 137(2)/127(2)/64(1)/351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. Heard Mr. B. Sarmah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State and learned counsel Ms. T. Parashar for respondent No. 2. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 that both the parties i.e., the informant and the accused have amicably settled their dispute. 4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he and the victim girl had a love affair and they went to watch Mela but they were late while returning from the Mela. They then took shelter in the house of Khairul Islam who is the uncle of Abdul Batem. On the same night, Khairul Islam had handed over the victim to the informant. 5. It is submitted that the victim is at the verge of attaining majority and marriage will be solemnized between the victim and the accused Abdul Batem. 6. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for respondent No. 2 that both the parties have amicably settled their dispute and the informant has no objection if the accused if the accused/petitioner is enlarged on bail. 7. Considering the entire aspect of the matter, it appears that anticipatory bail may be granted. 8. Thereby, in the interim and in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be enlarged on bail of Rs. 50,000/- with a suitable surety of like amount to the Page No.# 3/3 satisfaction of the Arresting Authority under the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 10 (ten) days and co-operate with the investigation. 9.
