ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the compensation payable to the petitioner in respect of the acquisition of his land for the purpose of constructing a channel. 2. Mr. S. Siva Thilagar, learned counsel appearing for the State of Tamil Nadu, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is required to produce all the documents establishing his title to the property. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to produce all the relevant documents before the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the second respondent shall fix a date for personal hearing and intimate the same to the petitioner. After conducting an enquiry and affording the petitioner an opportunity of hearing, the second respondent shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of production of the documents by the petitioner. 4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
