Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- ‘10.1 That, this Hon’ble court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, thereby directing the respondent authorities to decide the pending applicatino of petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment, within stipulated time, in accordance with applicable policy. 10.2 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given.” 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that husband of petitioner while working on the post of Peon in the officer of respondent no. 3 died in harness on 23.01.2025. Petitioner has submitted an application for grant of compassionate appointment on 28.03.2025, however, till date no decision has been taken and, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 3 to consider and take decision on application for grant of compassionate appointment at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that the grievance of petitioner is against the respondent no. 3 for which she is not appearing. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised in this writ petition and submission of counsel for petitioner based on Annexure P/4 which is application for grant of compassionate appointment, pending consideration before respondent no. 3, this writ petition at this stage is 3 / 3 disposed of directing respondent no. 3 to consider and take decision of application/claim of petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 04 months from the date of receipt of Order. 5.
