1. Heard Sri R.K. Singh Rajput, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri H.C. Dube, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for State- Respondents.
2. Petitioner has filed an appeal alongwith a stay application under Section 56 of Indian Stamp Act, 1899, however, he is aggrieved that till date even the stay application is not decided.
3. In aforesaid circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that Appellate Authority will consider the stay application expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from today and thereafter decide appeal expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
