This Writ Petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to remove the encroachments, obstructions and unauthorised structures existing within the Chinnakuttai Pond comprised in S.F.No.68/2, Karadivavi Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District, including the tar road, the electricity poles, the electricity transformer, 2 / 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.28271 of 2026 the pipelines, the borewell, the well and the plantations and consequently to restore the original extent, boundaries, water-spread area and ecological character of the said pond and erecting permanent fencing and installing permanent boundary stones to prevent future encroachments based upon the petitioner’s representation dated 15.04.2026. 2 According to learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner made representation before the respondents on 15.04.2026 seeking to remove the encroachments, obstructions and unauthorised structures existing within the Chinnakuttai Pond comprised in S.F.No.68/2, Karadivavi Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District, including the tar road, the electricity poles, the electricity transformer, the pipelines, the borewell, the well and the plantations and consequently to restore the original extent, boundaries, water-spread area and ecological character of the said pond and erecting permanent fencing and installing permanent boundary stones to prevent future encroachments. But the respondents neither removed the encroachments nor passed any orders on the petitioner’s representation.
