The instant application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963, has been filed by the applicant praying for condonation of delay for 162 days, in filing the connected Criminal Appeal No. 7 of 2026 against the Judgment & Order dated 17.09.2025, and Sentence Order dated 23.09.2025, passed by the Spl. Judge, ND&PS Act, Champhai, in Criminal Trial No. 57 of 2021. 2. Heard Mr. S. Vanlalhriata, learned counsel for the applicant. 3. The main reasons for the delay has been set out at Paragraph Nos. 4 to 7. 4. The Court has gone through the reasons and find that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. 5. Mrs. Mary L. Khiangte, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent has also not objected to the condonation application. Page No.# 3/3 6.
