Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. The respondent, despite service of notice and printing his name in the cause list, neither chosen to appear before this court in person nor through his counsel. 4. The petitioner is the wife, who is the respondent in HMOP No.413 of 2026 on the file of Family Court, Salem. The petitioner is a resident of Pogalur Village, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore District and she expressed difficulties and inconvenience to attend the proceedings before the Family Court Salem. Hence, she come forward with this transfer miscellaneous petition seeking transfer of HMOP No.413 of 2026 from the file of Family Court, Salem to the file of II Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore, which is the jurisdictional court. 5. Considering the place of residence of the petitioner and that the respondent has not come forward to oppose the request for transfer and also on going through the averments set out in the transfer petition and hearing the arguments advanced on behalf of the petitioner, I am inclined to allow the transfer of the proceedings as sought for by the petitioner/wife. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 548 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6 . Accordingly, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.413 of 2026 is withdrawn from the file of Family Court, Salem and the same is transferred to the file of II Additional Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore. 7. The Family Court, Salem is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.413 of 2026 to the file of II Additional Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore forthwith.
