[2] Issue notice. [3] Mr. BR Sharma, learned C.G.S.C entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. Hence no formal notice is called for. [4] In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself. [5] At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for redressing the grievances raise by the petitioner in the present writ petition, petitioner No.2 have already approached the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India by filling a representation dated 03.03.2026 and the said representation is still pending for consideration and disposal. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India (respondent no. 2) to consider the said representation on its own merit and strictly in terms of the WP(C) No. 460 of 2026 Page 3 applicable law and to disposed of the same by issuing an appropriate order within a stipulated period. [6] Mr. BR Sharma, learned C.G.S.C appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by the petitioner No. 2, he has no objection in disposing of this writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. [7] Taking into consideration the submission advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions;- (i) The Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India (respondent no. 2) is hereby directed to consider the representation dated 03.03.2026 submitted by the petitioner on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules/guidelines and to disposed of the same by issuing an appropriate order. (ii) The whole process should be completed within a period of 3(three) months from today. WP(C) No. 460 of 2026 Page 4 (iii) It is made clear that the aforesaid directions have been issued without touching upon the merit of this writ petition and on the basis of the agreement arrived at between the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
