The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct respondents to process petitioner’s representation dated 29.06.2026, seeking E.B. service connection to petitioner’s house situated at No.10, 2nd street, Secretariat colony, Lakshmi Puram,chennai-600 099. 3. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 29.06.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, respondents 3 and 4 and any other interested persons within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views on the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5.
