HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-K:228-DB CCC No. 200309 of 2025
ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.NATARAJ)
The complainant has filed this contempt petition alleging non-compliance of the order dated 07.08.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P. No.202750/2024.
2. The complainant had filed the aforesaid writ petition seeking a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the letter of respondent No.4 in accordance with law. The said writ petition was disposed of in terms of the order dated 07.08.2025 by which a writ in the nature of mandamus was issued directing respondent No.3 to consider the letter of respondent No.4 in accordance with law.
3. The complainant alleges that the said letter of respondent No.4 is not considered by the respondent No.2 and is therefore before this Court in this contempt petition.

4. Notice of this contempt petition is issued to the accused, who has filed an affidavit and has enclosed therewith an endorsement dated 06.12.2025 rejecting the request of the complainant for regularization of service on the ground that he did not satisfy the conditions set out in the judgment of the Apex Court in Umadevi’s case.
5. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the direction issued by the learned Single Judge is complied as the letter of the respondent No.4 is considered by the respondent No.2.
6. In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the correctness of the endorsement issued by the accused, the contempt proceedings are dropped. It is however open for the complainant to take necessary action in accordance with law. Sd/- (R.NATARAJ) JUDGE
