It is submitted thereafter the parties had amicably settled their dispute and to that extent they have filed the connected application. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were directed to surrender before the Trial Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of judgment to serve out the sentence and such time is required to be extended as the prayer for compromise is pending before this Court. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the de facto complainant submits that his client has instructed that a compromise has been effected by the parties in the meantime. 2 Having heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, the State is directed to submit a report on 16th April, 2026. The time for surrender before the Court below as directed in the judgment dated 02.03.2026 is hereby extended till 30th April, 2026 or until further order, whichever is earlier. Parties will be at liberty to file supplementary affidavit, if any, in the meantime.
