27.02.2026 Court No.28 Item No.32 tbsr Reject CRM (A) 446 of 2026 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Lalgola P.S. Case No.641 of 2025 dated 14.07.2025 under Sections 329(4)/115(2)/74/64(1)/62/3(5) of the BNS. And In the matter of: Sahabul Sk. @ Naru Sk. ….Petitioner. Mr. Asim Kumar Chakraborti ….for the petitioner Ms. Sonali Das Mr. Pratik Bose ….for the State Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. Report filed on behalf of the State is also taken on record. Despite service, no one appears on behalf of the alleged victim. Heard the learned counsels for the parties. Perused the case diary. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statements of the victim made before the learned Magistrate, her injury report and the statement of a neighbour and immediate post occurrence witness and the fact that substantially similarly circumstanced co-accused denied the benefit of anticipatory bail by this Court, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. 2 Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
