Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 25.11.2025 before the 2nd respondent, requesting for name change in patta, pertaining to the subject property. However, the said application was not at all considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the official respondent would submit that the petitioner’s application will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 25.11.2025 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8.
