Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government’s counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 4th respondent. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an online application dated 23.06.2026 before the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 28598 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 6 respondent, requesting them to measure the subject land and fix boundary stones therein. However, the said application was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner’s representation will be disposed of within a period of 6 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of one Jayanthi, who is a 3rd party, made objection for conducting survey at the subject land. 7. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 8. In the case on hand, the petitioner filed an online application dated 23.06.2026 before the respondent, requesting them to measure the subject land and fix boundary stones therein. However, an objection was raised by one Jayanthi for conducting survey at the subject land. 9. Upon perusal, it appears that the patta, pertaining to the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner. In such case, this Court feels that https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 28598 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 the said patta is sufficient for issuing a direction to the respondents for conducting survey at the subject land as requested by the petitioner. 10. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 23.06.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, including adjacent land owners and the objectors, if any, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to survey the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the title/possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court. 9. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the revenue officials are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the 4th respondent.
