The petitioner owns a land situated in R.S.Nos.388/1 and 388/4 at Tirukoilur (South) village, Thirukoilur Taluk, Kallakurichi District. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner applied to survey by paying necessary fees. However, when the revenue officials tried to survey the said land, the fourth respondent obstructed from surveying the land. Therefore, the petitioner lodged complaint. In view of the above, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject property, the said surveyor can approach the third respondent seeking police aid and on such request, the third respondent shall provide adequate police protection to the said surveyor. 4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
