(2) According to petitioner, he is serving as Night Watchman against a sanctioned post in the O/ o Jila Pariyojna Adhikari, Rudraprayag eversince the year 2008, but his claim for regularisation is not being considered. Petitioner has also staked claim for minimum of pay scale. (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner possesses all requisite qualifications for regular appointment on the post of Night Watchman. He further submits that work of Clerk is also being taken from the petitioner. (4) Perusal of record reveals that petitioner has made a representation to Jila Pariyojna Adhikari on 21.1.2026, but decision thereupon has not been taken. (5) Learned State Counsel assures that decision, if not already taken on the representation, shall be taken by the concerned authority as early as possible. (6) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the competent authority to take decision on the representation made by the petitioner, as per law, within eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
