HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD CRIMINAL MISC. ANTICIPATORY BAIL APPLICATION U/S 482 BNSS No. - 8598 of 2026 Court No. - 71 HON'BLE RAJIV LOCHAN SHUKLA, J.
1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.
2. After some arguments, learned counsel for the applicant states that he may be permitted to appear before the court concerned and apply for regular bail, which may be considered and disposed of without being influenced in any manner by the rejection of his anticipatory bail application by the concerned Sessions Judge. He prays that a short time may be granted to the applicant to appear and apply for regular bail and his interest may be protected in the meantime.
3. Learned AGA has no objection to the said prayer.
4. In view of the submissions made above, it is directed that in case the applicant appears before the concerned court and applies for regular bail within four weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously, in accordance with law, without being influenced by the rejection order of the anticipatory bail application by the Sessions Judge, Chandauli, or by any of the observations made in the said order.
5. For a period of four weeks from today, no coercive action shall be taken against the applicant pursuant to the Case Crime No.118 of 2026, under Sections 109, 115(2), 352, 351(3), 324(2) BNS and Section 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act, Police Station Dhanapur, District Chandauli. Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Arun Kumar Srivastava Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A. Ratan Raj Singh .....Applicant(s) State of U.P. .....Opposite Party(s)
6. In view of the aforesaid observations and directions, application stands disposed of.
