Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 14.10.2024 before the respondent, for re-classification of subject land from the category of “Tharisu land” to “Agricultural (punjai) land”. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that based on the petitioner’s representation, enquiry was already conducted and hence, seeks a period of 6 weeks for disposal of the said representation. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 28388 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2024 and after issuing notice and affording opportunity to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8.
