Parties are present before the Court and have filed their respective affidavits. 3. Placing the affidavits filed by the petitioners on record and the taking note of the undertaking given by the petitioners, the second respondent, who is represented through his son on account of his ill health, has agreed to close the matter as a true and amicable settlement. 4. Accordingly, the following order is passed: ORDER (i) The Criminal Petition is allowed. (ii) Placing the affidavits on record, the pending criminal proceedings in C.C.No.1280/2025 on the file of JMFC-IV Court, Belagavi, arising out of 98/2024, are hereby quashed. (iii) It is made clear that if there is any interference by the petitioners despite the undertaking given by way of affidavits, the second respondent is at liberty to initiate fresh action against the petitioners in accordance with law.
