Therefore, she has sought for transfer of the said proceedings to the Family Court at Villupuram. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent/husband, on instructions, states that the respondent has no serious objection for the transfer request of the petitioner-wife to be acceded to. 5.Independently, on going through the petition for transfer and the affidavit filed in support of the transfer application, I am satisfied that the petitioner has made out good ground for seeking transfer of the proceedings as prayed for.
6. In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP. No.22 of 2025 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Subordinate Court at Tambaram and transferred to the file of the Family Court at Villupuram. It is made clear that the Family Court, Villupuram shall not ordinarily insist on the presence both the petitioner and the respondent, except where their presence would be absolutely necessary for the purposes of their examination.
