In view of the above, the Commissioner of Salem Corporation, Salem, is directed to issue notice on the fifth respondent/M/s.Devi Constructions, Salem, in both writ petitions, calling upon them to submit their explanation to the claim of the petitioners along with the planning permission. On receipt of such explanation, the Commissioner of Salem Corporation, Salem, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law. With this direction, the writ petitions stand disposed of. No Costs.” 2. After the aforesaid order was passed, the fifth respondent therein had issued notice dated 11.05.2023 in the name of the petitioner. Thereafter, again on 21.08.2023, another notice was issued. It is seen that the purchaser of the flats had filed W.P.No.29290 of 2023 before this Court, which is still pending. Therefore, the order passed in W.P.No.21577 of 2022 stands complied with and no contempt is made out against the respondent. 3. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
