Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 1st & 2nd respondents and Mrs.S.R.Sumathy, learned Standing counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an appeal dated 20.09.2022 before the 1st respondent, for enhancement of compensation in respect of the petitioner’s land. In reply, the learned counsel for the official respondent would submit that the petitioner’s appeal will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 20.09.2022 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8.
