Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government’s counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 02.06.2026 before the respondent, requesting them to conduct survey and demarcation at the subject land and also https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 29096 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 6 for fencing therein. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner’s representation will be disposed of within a period of 6 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, including adjacent land owners, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent for measuring the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the title/possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 29096 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 9. As far as the request made with regard to the fencing is concerned, it falls under the private interest of the petitioner and hence, no assistance or protection will be provided by the official respondents for the purpose of fencing the subject property. Therefore, the said request of the petitioner is hereby rejected. 10. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the revenue officials are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the 3rd respondent. In such case, the 3rd respondent shall provide all necessary protection to the revenue officials till the completion of the process of survey the subject land. 11.
